OYC RITES OF SPRING RACE 2004
Course Sheet and Starting Instructions
All fleets are Spinnaker, Mono Hull, Double-Handed unless stated differently.
The committee plans to raise the next class warning flag at the same time it drops the previous class flag, but may delay the raise for various reasons. Racers should watch the flags and listen to the radio
START/FINISH: YRA Mark 9 and an orange banner on the Race Committee Boat.
RESTRICTED AREAS: Same as YRA standing race instructions.
TIME LIMIT: 4.0 hours after start. The Race Committee may extend to 4.5 hours for a given fleet if it judges that at least one boat in that fleet could finish by extending the time limit.
RADIO COMMUNICATIONS: The Race Committee may announce starts and other critical information, including notification of shortened course, on channel 71.
